UDIS inspires internationally-minded, balanced learners who thrive and become active global
Important News
Dear UDIS Parents,
The UDIS Covid-19 Community Plan 2021 has been fully reviewed and updated so that we are starting the new term and calendar year with policies and procedures that are based on the most current information available. We will meet regularly to review this data, the government directives, and the MOE guidelines so that we can adapt as the situation progresses.
The main highlights/changes to the Community Plan are as follows:
- New message from Head of School
- Published resources from MOE, ISAT, and Udon Thani government
- Explanation of week one soft campus opening
- Criteria for opening campus to face-to-face learning
- Prevention Protocols heightened just as they were early in term one
- Distance learning guidelines provided in detail
It is our wish to open the campus safely to face-to-face learning as soon as possible. If the following two criteria are met through the remainder of this week, then we intend on opening classes fully on Monday, January 11, 2021.
No Covid-19 infections for anyone on campus or within their immediate families
Udon Than authorities, the MOE or ISAT do not mandate school closure
In the event that the school campus is open, online learning will be suspended. Any students who wish to take personal leave can do so by informing the main office. Students opting to remain at home will be provided a study outline each day that parents can follow to continue their studies independently at home. Teachers will support parents who will supervise their children at home by providing resources, study outlines, and Google Meet appointments when possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please contact the main office if you have any questions or concerns.
