Welcome back to school Face-to-face!
I am so delighted to see all the learners back to school after two months of online learning.
This week we focused on exploring our classroom and playing. We have been away for a long time!
Talk4writing and Phonics this week
Book of the week - OWL BABIES
- We read the story
- We discussed the parts of the story
-We also discussed how each of the owls was feeling when they couldn't find their mummy?
- We then also did our feeling check-in
- Drew pictures to answer comprehensive questions.
- We also made a nest out of twigs and sticks
- We painted the owl in our outdoor creative area.
Communication and language
We focused on listening and practicing the sounds 'SATPIN'
- Some of us worked on orally blending and segmenting the sounds to words.
Thai this week
Sawaddee ka! Welcome back to school. This week the learners had fun and enjoyed listening to a story about a rabbit and a turtle. We explored different role-play activities and practiced listening to new vocabulary that begins with tor-tao.
We also created turtles!
These are some of the pictures from the first week back to school. We enjoyed playing this week and ready to have a smooth transition to K2 in August!
