Halloween house colour Dress Party

Dear Parents,

On 29th Friday, October we will be having a Halloween party in K1. Costumes will be based on our house colour team. 

สวัสดีค่ะคุณพ่อคุณแม่

ในวันศุกร์ที่ 29 ตุลาคมนี้ เราจะมีการจัด ปาร์ตี้วันฮาโลวีน ที่ชั้นอนุบาล 1 ของเรา  ซึ่งมีธีมการแต่งกายตามรูปแบบของบ้านสีที่เราอยู่ค่ะ

We are asking parents to provide a plate of food for their child to enjoy during our party. This is so that all children can be catered for regardless of dietary requirements.

เราขอความร่วมมือผู้ปกครองในการเตรียมขนมหรืออาหารว่างเพื่อมาร่วมฉลองในปาร์ตี้ของเรา เพื่อให้เด็กๆ สามารถมีความสุขในการรับประทานอาหารมากขึ้น

We are providing some simple guidelines as to what you might want to include for your child’s picnic snack. 

เราได้ยกตัวอย่างอาหารหรือขนมบางส่วนที่คุณพ่อคุณแม่สามารถเตรียมให้เด็กๆ เพื่อมาโรงเรียนได้ อาจจะจัดเป็นกล่องปิกนิคก็ได้ เช่น

• Small handful of chips - มันฝรั่งทอด

• Small sandwich or spring roll  - แซนด์วิช หรือ ปอเปี๊ยะทอด

• Vegetable sticks - ผักอบกรอบ

• 1 piece of fruit  - ผลไม้

• 1 biscuit  - บิสกิต

As the food you provide will be alongside their regular snack and lunch, we have included a picture for guidance on how much food to send. 

ซึ่งอาหารที่คุณพ่อคุณแม่เตรียมมากเราจะนำมาวางร่วมกับขนมและอาหารกลางวันของเด็กๆ และได้แนบรูปภาพตัวอย่างมาด้วย

This week

Special Announcement. 

Mr. Dinosaur is going home starting this week.

Shaylyn will be taking the dinosaur for the weekend. She has been a risk-taker and settled very well in our classroom environment. 

Wellbeing in K1

 In Talk4Writing and UOI we focused:

• We read the book ' A Magic Muddle'
• We learned the different spells and walked around our outdoor area to look for the magic stick.
• We explored and drew our favourite animals that we heard in the story.
• We are beginning to show interest in stories we hear and stories are structured.
• We also created our Magic Potion Shop

We also started our Dough Disco to work on our fine motor skills.

In Communication and Language (Phonics) Phase 1 - Aspect 5 (Rhythm and Rhyme) 

We reviewed our phase 1 phonics ' Rhythm and Rhyme'  

• Next week: Phonics assessment week

In Mathematics this week

• We focused on one-to-one correspondence 
• Count objects that cannot be moved
• We played the magic number games.  

Next week: How many? Can you find the same number as mine? What number do you see? 

• I spy number game 
• Build and order number boxes in order. Use card boxes to play with numbers - Learner interest 
• Treasure hunt with numbers 

Library

In Thai this week,

We focused on our fine motor skills and also discussed our likes and dislikes. 

In PE this week, 

We focused on our fundamentals, throwing, and catching skills. We used different-sized balls and sorted them as well. We had fun using the hula-hoops.
