Upcoming Events

The theme of this year: Christmas around the world!
On the 10th of December we are celebrating Christmas at school. Unfortunately, due to the current situation, we will not be able to celebrate together, as was done in the past at UDIS. But, we will still be able to spread some cheer with our learners this holiday season!
Here is how it's been decided we can safely celebrate this year: It will be a class party!
December 10th will be Pyjama Dress- Day. You can be creative with this. Here is an example.

Please don't forget to send your child's favourite pillow or stuffed animal to snuggle with. We will be watching some Christmas videos and stories 

Mr. Dinosaur is going home again this week.

Fuji will be taking Mr. Dinosaur home this week. For trying hard and being independent. Fuji has been very kind and polite to his friends and teachers. He is beginning to be a risk-taker and make some good choices this week. Well done Fuji!

Book of the week: Stick Man 

• We watched the movie ' Stick Man'. 
• We discussed different emotions Stick Man was going through as he lost his tree house 
• We drew a story map to retell some parts of the story.
• We also explored 'Stick Man' small world area to build on our communication skills.
